Can I see a mock-up before placing my order?

We provide digital mock-ups only after an order has been placed. Once you place your order, our design team will create and send you a mock-up for approval before production.

Do you provide a mock-up before printing/engraving products?

Yes! After we receive your order, our design team will create a digital mock-up and send it for your approval before production. This ensures you're satisfied with the design.

What type of logo format can I upload?

You can upload PNG, JPEG, or PDF files. For the best results, we recommend vector files (AI, EPS, or SVG) or a high-quality PNG.

Is there an easier way to send roster and logo details?

Yes, you can email the details to info@athleteaccolades.com and specify "refer to email" in the order's Additional Information section while placing the order. Our design team will then create a digital mockup and send it to you for approval before production.

How long does it take to receive my mockup after placing an order?

Our design team typically sends the digital mockup within 3 business days of receiving your order. Timelines may be slightly longer during peak sports seasons or during the 4th quarter of the year (holiday season). To check the status of your mockup, please email us at info@athleteaccolades.com.

Products

Are the hockey pucks real game pucks?

Yes, our hockey pucks are regulation size and weight. They can be used on ice, but the logo may show signs of wear over time due to the abrasive nature of the surface.

Will the logo on my custom puck wear off during gameplay?

Our pucks are printed using a high-quality, durable process and prepped with a bonding agent to help the ink adhere. However, due to the abrasive nature of ice surfaces, some logo wear is expected during gameplay. While many pucks hold up well, we cannot guarantee the print will remain intact after use on ice. For reference, NHL pucks are typically used for just 2-3 minutes before being rotated out, helping minimize wear.

This standard is common in other competitive leagues as well-junior, college, and minor pro. As a result, most pucks are taken out of play well before the logo shows any meaningful wear.

Will the print on award, commemorative, or keepsake pucks (logos, rosters, etc.) come off?

No. Award and commemorative pucks are intended for display and keepsake purposes, not gameplay. Since they are not used on ice, the printed designs (logos, rosters, and custom artwork) will remain intact. Logo wear may only occur when pucks are actively used in games due to the abrasive nature of ice surfaces.

Can you create a left-handed personalized mini hockey stick?

Yes, we can create left-handed mini sticks. Please add this preference in the order's additional instruction section. You'll receive a digital mock-up for review before production.

Are the mini sticks the same as knee hockey sticks?

No. Our mini sticks are designed as commemoratives and keepsakes, not for gameplay.

What is the typical turnaround time?

Our production turnaround is 10-11 business days. This includes order processing, digital mock-up creation, and production. Shipping takes an additional 1-6 business days, depending on your location.

Do you offer rush orders?

Shipping

What are your shipping details?

We ship within Canada and the USA. Orders typically leave our facility within 10-11 business days, with delivery taking an additional 1-6 business days depending on location.


Free shipping thresholds:

  • Hockey puck orders over $180
  • Other products over $225

A tracking number is provided once your order ships.
